Mr Frier had
built up a thriving business on his recently
acquired 50 acre West Frogwell farm, at
Callington. He
farmed six sows and their offspring, 250
Free Range hens, some barn hens and a flock
of rare breed sheep.
He was doing everything very well indeed,
including the marketing and needed very
little farming advice from NewLandOwner.
What he did need however, was planning
consent to live on site, to enable him to
properly tend to his livestock and provide
for them the care and attention they deserve
and require, 24/7.
NewLandOwner were able to put together a
detailed Business Plan, containing costs and
returns, plus the land and labour required.
An Appraisal of Need explained why he needed
to live on site.
These two documents were presented to the
planning committee with his application and
after an in-depth, on-site investigation by
the Council's Agricultural Consultant,
planning consent for temporary accommodation
was granted.
This should lead to consent for full
residential accommodation after three years.
A delighted Mr Frier wrote to thank
NewLandOwner for their contribution to his
successful application.
