NewLandOwner have developed a Farming
Experience Weekend, designed to help all
those wishing to learn a
little of what is involved in running a
smallholding.
As much "Hands-on" experience
as possible, including participants learning
how to up-end a sheep, to check it's health
and trim its' feet.
Instructors on these courses
are all local farmers and
countrymen, who are practicing what
they preach. Two are ex lecturers at
Derbyshire's now defunct Agricultural
College.
